When Dario Montoni launched his company, he had just one goal in mind: to create a lasting legacy built on advanced expertise. His avant-garde vision has enabled him to proudly bring his aspirations to life. MONTONI today includes over 140 employees with a wide range of skills and expertise. From investment strategy to environmentally responsible design, the MONTONI team works every day to push Dario’s dream even further—to construct the best projects in the industry.

Acquisition of 495 Beaumont in the Parc-Extension neighbourhood of Montreal, in order to develop a residential project that reflects the neighbourhood that it will be part of.

Lumenpulse

Awarded “Integrated Building, Industrial and R&D” prize by Immobilier Commercial magazine for the construction of Lumenpulse Group’s head office.

Ericsson

Awarded “Leader in Sustainable Transportation” by MOBA for having reduced the environmental impact of its Ericsson project. For the same project, MONTONI received the INOVA 2016 award in the category “Commercial – Construction Cost Over $50 Million.”

Acquisition of a site in Ville Saint-Laurent to build a new corporate campus and Canadian head office for Ericsson. With more than 1,700 employees, this facility is amongst Ericsson’s largest outside of Sweden.

Awarded the Leadership prize by the Canada Green Building Council (CaGBC) in recognition of our efforts in advancing LEED® sustainable development techniques.

Complexe Jules Brillant

Inauguration of three LEED® certified office towers on Highway 15 in Laval: the Jules-Brillant Complex (86,070 sq.ft.), the Louis-R.-Renaud Complex (103,300 sq.ft) and the Maurice-Gauvin Complex (86,070 sq.ft.).

Faubourg Boisbriand

Construction of the first of eight buildings following the acquisition of 2.5 million sq. ft. in Faubourg Boisbriand. This will contribute to the revitalization of the neighbourhood, which had suffered from the closing of the General Motors plant a few years earlier.

Awarded our first gold-level LEED® certification for the Logistik Unicorp building, constructed in 2006.

Centre Corporatif Saint Laurent

Construction of Canada’s first industrial park consisting entirely of LEED®-certified buildings, totalling 720,728 sq. ft. The Saint-Laurent Corporate Centre highlights MONTONI’s commitment to sustainable development.

Our first development project in Montreal: a 1 million sq. ft. project at the intersection of the Trans-Canada Highway and Côte-de-Liesse, for Structube, Centura and Standard Products.

Centre Corporatif Lavel I

Completion of our first industrial development project in Laval: Phase 1 of Laval’s Corporate Centre. This project includes 14 new buildings totaling over 2.5 million sq. ft. and was completed in three years. The success of this development garnered MONTONI contracts for the subsequent nine phases.

Construction of three major projects is completed: Cyclo-Vac, Polykar and King Canada. These clients placed their faith in MONTONI, a relative newcomer to the business. MONTONI remains grateful for their early confidence.

Dario Montoni

Dario Montoni, a 25-year-old engineer, sees an opportunity in the construction industry. He founded Groupe Montoni Division Construction Inc. (1995), a firm that stands out for its client-based approach, and one that immediately made an impression on the industry.
